Terms of service

FixKhmer is an online candidate directory for companies and HR teams in Cambodia to find workers and employees across job categories. Job seekers ("workers") publish a profile, a photo and a CV. Company representatives and HR professionals ("employers") search profiles, shortlist candidates, read CVs and contact workers directly.

FixKhmer does not employ workers, does not place workers with employers, and is not a party to any job agreement. We do not guarantee that a worker will be hired or that an employer will find a worker.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Workers may only create a profile for themselves, never for another person.
• Employers must be a real business, organisation or household that intends to hire.
• You may have only one account, and you must not use another person's account.
• We may refuse or close an account if we believe these rules are not followed.

Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using it.

• Everything in your profile and CV must be true: your name, photo, experience, education, certificates and references.
• Use a recent, clear photo of yourself.
• Only add a reference after that person has agreed to be contacted by employers.
• Uploading an identity document is optional. If you upload one, it must be your own, valid document. Our team checks it and, if it matches your profile, shows a "Verified" badge. The badge only means we checked your identity document; it is not a background or criminal-record check.
• When you tick that approved employers may see your profile, CV and contact details, you allow us to show them to approved employers as described in the Privacy policy. You can hide your profile at any time by turning off "Open to work".

• Give true details about your business or household. We may ask for proof, such as a registration number, before approving you.
• Use workers' contact details and CVs only to discuss a real job with that worker.
• Never copy, sell, share or publish workers' information, and never collect it in bulk or with automated tools.
• Never ask a worker for money, a deposit or their identity documents in order to get a job.
• Do not discriminate against workers because of their sex, ethnicity, religion, disability or any other reason the law protects.
• Follow Cambodian labour law, including the minimum working age, fair pay, working hours and safe working conditions.

Interviews, salary, working hours, conditions and payment are agreed directly between the employer and the worker. FixKhmer does not take part in these agreements and is not responsible for them.

Check information yourself before you make a decision. Meet in safe places, never pay money to get a job, and report anything suspicious to us.

• Fake profiles, false information or pretending to be someone else.
• Harassment, threats, abuse, or offensive or sexual content.
• Scams, asking for fees, or offering illegal, forced or exploitative work.
• Collecting other users' information, scraping the website or using bots.
• Trying to break into accounts, overload the website or spread harmful software.

Our team reviews every worker profile and every employer before they appear. We may ask you to change your profile, refuse it, hide it, or suspend or close your account if it breaks these terms or the law, or if we receive serious reports about it. When we can, we tell you the reason.

You keep ownership of the profile, photo, CV and documents you upload. You give FixKhmer permission to store them and to show them to the people allowed to see them, as described in the Privacy policy, for as long as your account exists. You confirm that you have the right to upload them.

FixKhmer is free for workers, and will stay free for workers. In the future we may offer paid features for employers; we will announce prices clearly before anyone has to pay.

We work hard to keep FixKhmer accurate, safe and available, but we provide it "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for what users write in their profiles, for decisions made by employers or workers, or for any job agreement between them. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Cambodian law that cannot be limited.

We may update these terms when the service changes. We will show the date of the latest version at the top of this page and announce important changes on the website. If you keep using FixKhmer after a change, the new terms apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. We will always try to solve a problem with you directly first; if that is not possible, disputes will be decided by the competent courts in Phnom Penh.
